In gratitude of the Miraculous Recovery of Mrs. Shifra Robkin

Dear Friends,

Mazal Tov!!!!

Shifra has come home!!!!!

We are sure by now that many of you have been updated on the good news of our dear friend Shifra Robkin, wife of Rabbi Yogi Robkin, co-director of DATA of Plano.

Shifra had been in the ICU with a serious infection following the birth of her fifth child. We organized a Shabbaton just a few weeks ago and we came together to pray and learn in her merit.

Now we need to come together to express our gratitude to Hashem for her speedy miraculous recovery and her return home!!!!

We invite you all to attend a Shabbaton this weekend to learn about Chanukah, Miracles and gratitude and how they all connect to Shalom Bayis ( peace in the home).

Join us for a Shabbos full of spiritual inspiration, singing, delicious food and a fantastic kids program!!!!

Who is Aliza Bulow?

Aliza Bulow is the national coordinator for Ner LeElef’s North American Women’s Program, and the Senior Educator for The Jewish Experience in Denver, Colorado.

A 13^thgeneration American born to Protestant parents in the 1960’s, her upbringing was intensely impacted by her parents’ deep commitment to the civil rights movement. After a spiritual search that began in early adolescence, Aliza converted to Judaism at the age of 16. She went to Israel shortly thereafter where she studied at Michlelet Bruria and the Hebrew University, and served in the Nachal division of the Israeli Defense Forces during the 1980’s Lebanon war.

In 1985, while completing her BA in Hebrew and Jewish Social Studies at Hunter College, she married and moved to Long Beach, NY. Aliza has been a Jewish Educator for over twenty five years and s he now mentors women who work in Jewish Adult Education and Outreach, and provides consulting for Jewish Outreach organizations across the country. Mother, and mother-in-law, of eight teenagers and young adults, Aliza’s passion is helping the Jewish community grow. As a parent, as an educator and as an author, Aliza works to strengthen Jews and their connections to their heritage, to their mission and to each other.
